Experience : 2 - 3 years minimum

Key Responsibilities

Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
Developing both long-form and short-form content for blogs, articles, newsletters, pitch decks, product descriptions, social media, and the company website.
Assisting the marketing team by developing content for marketing and advertising campaigns.
Proofreading content for errors, flaws, and inconsistencies.
Editing, polishing, and refurbishing existing content to improve readability.
Conducting basic keyword research and using SEO best practices in coordination with social media executive to increase traffic to the company website.
Creating compelling headlines, body copy, and suggesting social media content ideas with viral potential to capture the attention of the target audience and drive their engagement.
Identifying customers’ needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company's current content.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field, or an equivalent experience.
Proven content writing or copywriting experience
Working knowledge of content management systems.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.
A portfolio of content created for previous organizations/projects.
Excellent writing, editing, and quality checking skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Effective communication skills.
